Autumn 2010 chilly and unsettled
Xmas
We've issued our autumn 2010 weather outlook and the headline is for a windier and colder autumn than many we've had in recent years. Things are likely to start off with a dry and quiet spell of weather, but we're expecting things to go downhill as we go through September, with often cool and wet conditions developing during October and November. Some very stormy weather is likely and at times in northern parts we expect the risk of snow. The snow risk is particularly likely later on in November when it may push further south for a time.
The meteorological autumn  covers  the period from September 1st to November 30th. Contact us here for more information about the forecast. Don't forget to take a look at TWO buzz gives regular updates on the weather news and this site.

Christmas 2010 forecast online

Our first Christmas 2010 forecast has now been issued and suggests the most likely outcome is for rather cold and wet weather, with a greater chance of snow further north. We'll be updating the forecast regularly between now and December 25th.
