    July Morning Mist

Yes, here's yet another round of misty morning shots, but wait, this was actually taken from a different location other than my "favourite" area!
While driving on the way to work this morning (1st of July), I came across this patch of shallow mist.

"Very nice" I thought to myself, but it looked rather plain, so I thought about getting to the other side of it . . .

    A bit better!

Thinking that's enough for now, I then carried on with my drive to work thus leaving that misty scene behind me  . . . but for some reason I thought about looking in the side mirror and after seeing what was on it, I thought "Oh my, that's beautiful!".
So, once again, I pulled over to one side and took this series of photos, which I'm sure you'll agree on why I just had to take them,

These were taken with an Fuji A900, I only wish I had my Nikky D40 on me! After last Saturday's somewhat lacklustre woodland effort, this one had taken me completely by surprise!

Brilliant photos with the trees breaking up the sunbeams in the mist!

You ought to send one in to your local BBC studio; if "South-East Today" are anything like "South Today", they always feature a few shots of the area before the weather forecast. oWink

    An update to this.

I happened to be showing the picture to the boss and he said "Crikey, that was shown just before the Meridan weather forecast on Wednesday evening. I thought I had seen it somewhere before, so it was you who sent it!". One other workmate, said he saw it on the late evening Meridian news but never gave it a second thought . . . until today when he realised it was mine's!
So, I decided to do a bit of internet research and as luck would have it, Meridian does have a 7 days catch-up service . . . and managed to do this screengrab.

So, I did it, then! My photo appeared on the telly! oApproveoApproveoApprove
