Snowing again after a 30 minute drier interlude earlier, 6cm down now.
Been snowing on and off, but no depth added.
Radar shows the activity over the Irish Sea drying up.
Lying snow - already turned slushy on pavements & roads - will be gone in a couple of hours, just not enough 'critical mass' to sustain itself.
Disappointing
Snowing here for the past hour or so. Mostly small flakes and not settling.
My daughters live in north Nottingham and are reporting heavy settling snow

Had heavy snow showers this morning, about 4cm again.
Dry now.
I had to drive to Salford (essential) and it coincided with a big snow shower in the city centre. Was settling very easily.

Been snowing heavily for a good couple hours now. Probably got just over an Ince of snow on the ground. Best snowfall this winter so far

I'm at 100m in trossachs and got nothing, we've been too central for stuff from the south and east earlier in the week and too sheltered from showers from north and west.
Cracking crisp winters day all the same. Everything was white last night with a thick frost though.
Edit . Saint beat me to it.
This morning, better than a kick in the knackers.

They were taken from this link (which was showing v snowy conditions around J27 at the time of writing).
