The wierd thing is that I first saw it looking south. That's how crazy it is; its directly overhead!I feel like this is a once in a lifetime experience, at least for this latitude.

I occurred roughly between 11 pm - 12 am. It caught me a bit of a surprise, as previous red alerts have only produced very little display here in Sheffield but it was amazing considering it was in light polluted parts of Sheffield. Managed to get a few photos of it.
Great show, but the colours tended to come out stronger on camera than to the naked eye.
