Edinburgh Gogarbank has now joined in with the party with a temperature drop to just 15°C, a drop of 6°C in just an hour and the rain has now become a bit heavier here in NW Edinburgh.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Just been looking at the weather graphs for 'Highlands & Islands' weather stations in Edinburgh.......the temperature and dewpoints fall off a cliff at 3pm!!

It's still getting warmer here, the curse of the very long days this time of year. It's still pretty much calm, just the odd puff from the NE now and again. Feeling muggy and of course a/c will be needed... I'll have to have it running for a couple of hours after I go to bed, yet again (it's 27C upstairs at the moment, all windows open, and 25C downstairs).

24.0, dew 15.9, high so far 24.1.

Tomorrow's showing 26, with the text forecast going for a high of 31 in the SE, then Thursday is now showing 28, down from 30 from yesterday's forecast. It can keep on dropping as far as I'm concerned.

At least those jammy folks up north won't have any trouble sleeping tonight, and won't be waking during the night to find a soggy mattress from all that sweat!

Hovered around 28 C pretty much all afternoon with a peak of 28.5 C at 2.45 pm. Unbroken sunshine too, although skies a little pale/hazier compared to yesterday's gin blue. 

Currently 25.7 C & high 50% H.

Believe it or not, today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank is officially confirmed as 22.9°C which actually makes today our second warmest day of this summer so far.

However, that was a temperature which was recorded in the early afternoon and already seems like a very distant memory given what has happened since then.

It's still 21C outside with no wind. Indoor temperatures are 26C 🥵

Dew point around 15.5C making it feel a little humid but thankfully not that bad.

A warm and oppressive night - with a small amount of condensation on the outside of the windows!

Clear, calm (bar the odd puff from the NE), 15.8, dew 14.7. The low so far is 15.2.

It's still 25C upstairs this morning, with the windows having been open all night, and downstairs it's 23C.

It's going to be a very unpleasant day (and night) to come.

After the cold, wet afternoon yesterday we have had a foggy drizzly night. It's still foggy and 12 C, the minimum was nearer to 11 C. After two cloudy days, I can't wait for the fresh sunny westerlies

It's now turned cloudy, the first clouds for several days! The sun is still shining through, but dimly.

It's still warmer than it was this time yesterday, though, at 17.3 / dew 16.3 (94% RH).  Looks like a very steamy day to come, and once the cloud clears (MetO says within 2 hours) then the temperature will rocket!
