Arsenal look like a mid-table team at the moment.

And Fernando Torres has failed to score yet again.

Well I'm home a bit earlier from work than normal, so it'll give me the opportunity to see how the Man U babes get on against the warriors from North London

Is it too early to talk about relegation for Harry's Hotspurs?

Excellent player, well worth the money Ferguson paid for him.

Based on tonight's performance, it still looks to me as if Shiteh are going to give United a good run for their money.

The plastic Chavs may yet have something to say although the addition of Mata and Lokuku still isn't enough, especially when you have the likes of Fat Frank playing on.

BTW: Very impressed with Shiteh on Sunday - superb movement on and off the ball. Mancini seems to have unleashed the players after his defensive paranoia last season.

Liverpool? Two words - 'Jordan Henderson'

Good performance from a youthfull Man U team last night. A real team performance with players really enjoying themselves. The Man U starting XI consisted of 7 British players (6 English + 1 Ulsterman) and 2 subs that came on were also Brits. I just wonder how many top prem teams will field that many home grown players (and Wenger this means Brits and not africans brought over at a young age). I think it certainly gives Man U a slight edge playing with so many home grown players, the squad looks really happy, settled and willing to work hard for each other. Definitley prem contendors again but a million miles away from Barca !!

Is Harry's tactic to pack the midfield and not bother with a striker?

(after all, Spurs haven't had a striker on their books for how many seasons now?)

I'm assuming Adebyor will sign shortly and we'll probably get Leandro in January. So that should address the problems up front.

I'd have given Pavlyuchenko more of a chance. Maybe he's a bit lazy, but he has a good touch and is an excellent finisher. I am baffled why Crouch got the nod over him so often last season. Pav's goals per game ratio was the best of all your strikers last season, yet he is restricted to 10-20 minute cameos.
