Cisse scores a brilliant first goal and then a second from another planet. Don't think I've seen a goal like it before, stunning! He'd better be doing that on Sunday.

Woohoo

I have to go out to pick up my boy from Scouts, at that point Spurs were looking a bit ordinary, had conceded a goal so it was 1-1.

Bolton were moving forward, looking for a winning goal, then bang 3 goals in 9 minutes.

Spurs look good, Bolton look dead and buried, spurs often look cr*p away from home, the last game against Rovers definately came at the right moment.

Tonight was a reminder why Spurs are one of the best counter attacking teams in the league. Shame they didn't play like this earlier this season because they'd have had third sewn up by now.

Kyle Walkers goal, seems like a contender to me, aimed free kick at the goal, long way out that swerved because he knew it would!

I'm rather baffled about the Chavs. I didn't see the team sheet last night, but the Beeb was reporting that DiMatteo made six changes, presumably in part to rest players ahead of the Cup Final.

Now DiMatteo may be going for a 'sh*t or bust' strategy by going for trophies. Which is fair enough, if we are to assume the Russian crook won't be employing him next season.

Which begs the question - given the Russian crook's well known obsession with winning the Champions League - why didn't he pass a message down the food chain to DiMatteo to play the strongest team possible (and continue the drive for fourth place) just in case the Chavs don't beat Bayern.

Given the choice of finishing fourth or winning the Cup I'd have thought the Russian crook would go for the former.

Had the Chavs beaten the Bar Codes last night the Bar Codes would probably be out of the running for fourth - I really don't see them getting 6 points out of Shiteh and Everton. Which would leave the Chavs to chase down Spurs on the expectation Spurs will manage to screw things up in their final two games.

Most odd.

That Chelsea-Newcastle result was the worst scenario for Citeh. A Newcastle loss would have put them pretty much out of the race for 4th, but now they'll be gee'd up.

As for the Chavs, the maths is simple. If either the bar codes or Spurs win either of their remaining games the Chavs will need to beat Bayern to get back into the CL next season. Very dangerous having to rely on that outcome.

Liverpool announce £50 mill loss for the year gone, 35 mil of for the shelved new stadium.

I love the way its all dismissed with a wave of a hand, by the owners, who had to wipe out the other debt of £200mill when they bought the club last year.

Sometime, someone as got to say enough is enough, about all these astronomical figures of losses.

I guess this is why ticket prices are so high.

Meanwhile, reports today that Capello wants a crack at a Premier League club.

As 'Arry looks to be staying put at WHL (and VDV has today been singing his praises), it's not going to be Spurs.

Chelsea then?

(or, if he wanted a real challenge, Liverpool.... although Dalglish could lead us to the brink of relgation - and in 2012 our form is of this standard! - and still not be sacked)

Interesting move by Chelsea Football Club, who have announced they have submitted a bid to purchase Battersea Power Station with a view to constructing an "iconic" 60,000-seater stadium.

Two good penalty shouts for Norwich turned down, Benayoun still on the pitch. I have a feeling the Scum are still going to win this, unfortunately.

Arsenal 3-2 up at moment after being absolutely battered. If Grant Holt (yeah, the one some people think is international class and will set the Euros alight) could finish with a better percentage then Arsenal could be 1-5 down by now
