As Jim Royle might say, St Swithin's Day my ****!

Looks like possibly two more warm days, tomorrow and Friday, and then back to chilly crud for a while. Hopefully the usual September pattern shift will come in a few days early in time for my hols at the end of the month.

I'm not getting the optimism.

Away from the SE/E, the output is showing nothing settled, just more of the showery crud that has plagued recent summers. Ah well, the first half of summer was great....

Thats a massive shift to cooler more unsettled conditions. The ECM looks like its done with summer for now. The ensemble Mean looks poor with a cool NW flow long term.
