Looks like its going to take a while for some areas to recover. Spurn head looks quite narrow compared to norm with the higher water.

Just had a thought. Now that the North Sea has been churned up good and proper, I wonder what kind of difference it'll make on SSTs as we go deeper into winter proper? (Probably prevent it from getting too cold!).
