Sorry Rob It was just a bit of fun.
Someone sent me the tweet to cheer us up after I tweeted to them we're off work because of the weather and they were working inside
So I thought I'd do the same here
I know it may not be true and it is the usual tabloid stuff, taken at face value by me and I thought others (I was wrong)
I mean who would have predicted this lot we are having now according to one paper we were going to get snowmeggedon

A newspaper picks up a report about the global climate, slaps a misleading "Summer scorcher" headline on it, everyone reads it and assumes the Met Office (or someone similar) is forecasting a hot UK summer, then it doesn't happen and everyone says forecasters are useless.
Maybe a bit of fun, but not if you are trying to get people to take climate science seriously.
Rant over....
