UK Outlook for Friday 14 Mar 2014 to Sunday 23 Mar 2014:
Remaining settled and mostly dry on Friday with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells, with the best of these in the south. However thicker cloud will affect some northwestern parts, gradually moving south during the day, and bringing some light outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Temperatures will be near normal or just above, although colder overnight, perhaps with frost or fog under any clearer skies. Into the weekend it will turn unsettled across the north, with wet and windy periods and hill snow, but staying dry, but cloudier in the south. These unsettled conditions will continue next week in the north, interspersed by colder interludes with wintry showers. Whilst generally staying drier and brighter in the south, some colder and more unsettled weather is also possible at times.
UK Outlook for Monday 24 Mar 2014 to Monday 7 Apr 2014:
The current trend is for fairly typical conditions for the end of March and April, with a changeable mixture of showery outbreaks of rain and drier, sunnier intervals. Although it will also be feeling cold at times. As such, some spells of wet and windy weather should be expected, these most frequent in the north, with the risk of hill snow. However there will also be drier and brighter interludes, with the best of these to the south and east. Temperatures are likely to be near normal or below, especially in the north, and any clearer nights will be rather cold with the risk of frost.
