Overcast. There was a tiny bit of light rain which made it a little damp for a time and then it tried to brighten up for a moment afterwards but I might have missed that by blinking.

14.9 C and 92% humidity under a light northerly wind.

Update at 9.15 am: It is now raining, enough to wet the ground.

Dull and overcast - exactly the reason this synoptic pattern is a disaster for those in East Anglia.

About an hour ago, my heart swelled at seeing blue skies and the sun coming out . . . and then it went "Prrrprprprprprpr" like a balloon being deflated as cloud thickened up once again and it started raining.

If it is mid-January, right now, this light rain would be in the form of a snow flurry causing everyone to go bonkers barmy and panic buy everything. But since it's June  . . .

15.0 C with 88% humidity and the north east breeze has picke up a little thus adding to the chill. Still, at least I can't complain about the air quality.

For the umpteenth time this year a sunny Monday has followed a grim grey weekend. An insult especially now that it's just clouded over to prevent a glorious evening yet again

Max of 19.2C, now 17.6C and falling.

Very cool here in Fulham at just 17 degrees and constant grey clouds with a nagging NE wind looking ahead the London weather seems to be stuck in the same groove right through the next two weeks. I wouldnt be a bit surprised if this summer turns out to be one of the coolest on record for this neck of the woods based on projected weather patterns
