Pouring with rain here, along with near gale force southerly wind.

    

Easing off here now, getting on for six cm (subtract 5mm for the base of the ruler). Just had to lean out of the bedroom window to sweep the snow off the satellite dish - shame, I was enjoying the peace and quiet.

Still snowing here, albeit much smaller flakes. Depth around 4cm on cars/grass; 3cm on roads/pavements. A belated Xmas pressy!

Very light snow now here in Irby, Wirral. Looks beautiful though - unusual for us to get this much snow so early in the winter.

Still coming thick and fast here and my youngest son just phoned to say he's on his way home but roads are so bad it's taken him half an hour to drive less than a mile.

Some good reports but......`3cm and the side roads are bad` Man up !

Car says its 2c and the windscreen confirms we have sleet here.

Liverpool Airport diverted flights to Manchester whilst it removed snow from the runway.

We've been rather favoured here.

Seems like a lot of you have done better than I have.
