Cool with a nip in the wind..

Chance of rain shower overnight with a small risk of sleet in heaviest bursts.

Absolute minimum forecasted is 3C but mostly around 5C!!

Lol even the Northerlies of the modern winters if yesteryear where colder 😃

Horrible start to the day - woke up to 6.1c just now and temp is rising fast- patchy cloud, little wind, no frost...well that's a joke and no wintry showers - just damp expect showers to clear by midday - before clouding over and temps rising tonight ahead of more rain showers and a low of 4c tomorrow (early hours). This is yet another non event for the south west and tomorrow it will be milder at 7c - sorry to sound so pessimistic but it's a big let down. AGAIN!

Well if even Dartmoor can't even get a decent covering then what are our chances!?

I am not surprised at the rest of Tally's observations as this was indeed the forecast all along - Friday a milder sector - colder again into the weekend. The yellow warning for snow extends across the Moors of the SW Sat/Sun.

I think it's better to just look out of the window instead of looking for reliable forecasts.

IMBY this is another farcical coolish snap, temps here are now at 3.9c with DP just under 1c. The Northerly at the weekend looks a bone dry affair for here and then we're relying on that trough dropping down from Iceland on Monday night, which without doubt will have a mild sector plonked right over the top of here. I keep saying it but without proper HLB these marginal events are bobbins and I'll rather see 13c with rain then 3c with the same.

The temp in wolves was only meant to be 1c at 11 o'clock and it's already 3.5c, so i think it's a waste of energy getting animated over these dodgy forecasts and just look out the window to see whats coming, anybody can do nowcasting.

Just posted in CC thread: - It's 9.3c here and the max was for +5c today.

IMO we are not having a northerly - it turned cooler last night NW winds and today westerly hence milder and milder tomorrow again westerly winds max of 7c which usually means it will be +10c. If there is any cooler/colder weather it will be weekend.

Anyone in the SW reporting this surprise in milder weather today and lack of showers, light winds and spring like conditions!?

Turning into a very forgettable winter here. If we're not going to get some proper cold and snow then bring on Spring or some good Atlantic storms. Pointless, cold, damp weather this.

They keep over hyping the weather what will they say if it did get cold and proper snow by the way it's nice and sunny here in Essex a little bit of cloud and just a tad breezy but nothing like they are saying in the news.
