My two kids aged 7 (nearly 😎 and 6 (just) were in a state of euphoria this evening making snowballs out of 1cm of slushy snow cover. I was surprised as they have lived through several snow events in their young lives.

It seems both of them have little recollection now of snow events in years passed; namely 2009-2013

Because of this never in my life have I wanted tonight's potential to come to fruition more..they asked me if we were due some more..my reply was to dream about it tonight and your wishes may just come true.

The moon is shining on the frozen slush now..here's hoping the polar low delivers.

It will make for a magical morning if it does.

We've got moderate-heavy rain, which is washing away the already slushy covering left from this morning's excellent snow

FFS, I despise our stinking, sh*tty climate.

Even a fabled polar low only produces rain.

As Hungry Tiger would say. you couldn't make it up.

One day, we WILL get that catastrophic snowstorm that cripples the entire country for days on end. But I'll probably be in my 80's, arthritic and hating snow by then.
