Snowing here just to wet to settle. As looks the case for most tonight

sleet/snow either/or here at times. No accumulation and the wind is very strong.

If yesterday and today had all been proper settling snow it would have been a memorable event for the East. As is, it's probably just 1c or 2c to warm. 

Overnight snow has given a light cover. 

The radar suggests that the Kent contingent - particularly those fortunate enough to be at altitude - might get something in the next couple of hours. Currently 0C here with a DP of -1.4C so I'm hopeful.

We had 30 seconds of light snow here - after that everything's been avoiding Sheppey on the radar!

Had another temporary slushy covering here overnight. It was snowing when I looked out at 5ish. 

Something heavier and more organised seems to be traversing Norfolk and Suffolk at the moment. Chin up!

Seriously, the wind has as you know veered into the NNW. The airmass has never been truly Arctic or deeply cold above so even some maritime influence will modify the type (in your case, raising dps along and near the coast of Norfolk this morning). The guys in the Wirral and near the Lancashire coast have the problem quite often.

Nothing here to indicate it snowed in the night. Wind has picked-up noticeably though in last few hours.

The whole quote functionality on this forum/version is utter pants. Can't multi-quote, can't quote in quote, often have to wait for the quote button to 'appear', can't misquote ....bring back Snitz!

Not even cold rain here so far. Last time I looked at the radar, the showers seem to be disintegrating while crossing the estuary? 

The Folkestone snow shield must be on full power today!  The sun is out and temp up to 5c.

It's quite odd, isn't it? I don't know why the estuary should be killing the showers, but it's doing a good job!

That said, as it's 4.9C / 0.7C it would just be cold rain anyway.

Agreed. It only quotes the last item in an exchange where the original post may be pages back, and often the last item makes no sense at all out of context.
