I'm looking across toward the Thames Estuary way past Gillingham and something looks to be falling from the clouds in the distance

Need some reports from the Gillingham/Rainham area to see what they got from this, maybe rain there as closer to the river.

Nice to see the sunshine today and slightly less cold, think the snow risk maybe over.

Everything does look to be setting up a little further east than my location at present so i may miss out on it all together anyway...

Lying snow is a different matter. The sea air usually melts things within a few hours unless the temp is well below zero. This happened on Tuesday evening good covering at 8pm (2-3cm) gone by 10pm

March 2013 we lying snow for one week in places and this was the first time for nearly 30 years.

Generally its quite warm here although in the summer we seem to avoid the hot stuff and in the Winter avoid the freezer. We seem to just go from Autumn to spring and miss out summer and winter.

Lots of cells skipping past to my west, and edging ever closer....just not close enough yet to see what type of ppn is falling. The current one has a well defined fall curtain though - I can almost touch it. As I type, the next one is looming on the horizon, but will it reach here?.....

It's not over, until the fat Scandy sinks.....
