Many cheers, GW, excellent stuff. Another lower-mid-table finish from me this year. Every time I've gone for something particularly mild or cool, it's looked possible with half/third of the month to go, only for the emerging pattern to moderate, with my [ahem!] 'expert forecast' ending up well off.
Interesting to read Darren's comment about if one had just gone for the average throughout the year
