Best one of the year Kev IMO; love the sun at 9, the pigeons, and then the car headlights in the background about 2pm I think it was. Then when you zoomed out- (& it was your shed after all!)- what a lovely sight. I'm sure your neighbours (to the left) looked out to take in the scene!

From 54s to about 1.07, a darker ribbon seems to go through the clouds tracking north to south. The effect seems to cause the cloud above to melt away. It's not a contrail as they are straight and also the conditions were not suitable for long last contrails.

Yes- I see it- I reckon it's a slightly irregular subsistence line- the air suddenly sinking, compressing and drying, evaporating the cloud moisture; but you'll have to check with the physicists Kev!
