+6 ..should make +7 or 8 before 1430 as forecast on countryfile 6 days ago. Hardly bitterly cold as described by some..

1) it's not a northerly wind here it's more westerly.

i agree.. I am going for 8C if the clouds don't spoil the party lol, but even with cloud 7C is very much likely. Met office have 5C forecasted for Portsmouth today.

it was 8C I said earlier in the week when others thought it would be 5-6C here. Had it been a northerly I did say possibly even warmer then 8C.

I am sure BBC will mention a few places that did get rather cold to justify the dramatic severe frost warnings, but still the temps are those u might expect in November. Even down here!
