Feb 2nd 2015, wintry showers during afternoon then moderate snow for an hour that gave a full covering...2cm...by nightfall but by morning most of it had melted, before that the previous covering of around 4cm was in March 2013 and that only lasted 2 days here on the east coast...pretty poor...

And yet Richard appears to have had 19 days with snowcover (albeit not 2 foot of powder!) in the past 12 months alone, with a fair smattering of days with a couple if inches (so full cover)....  Something doesn't add up here?!?

Around this date locally four years ago we had a 3 to 4 inch fall of snow.

I believe the date was the 20th January, a Sunday, 2013 which was gone by lunchtime the following day & I've not seen any settle since.

Last snow here was 30/1/16 , it caused treacherous road conditions resulting in some of the steeper roads being blocked by stuck cars.

The police were forced to close some of the roads as they were impassable in 2WD cars. Twas nice while it lasted, all gone the next day.
