First real snow of Winter here on March 4th. Very wet snow but big flakes and a covering on the ground at just 200ft asl.
Snow beautiful Snow. Covers the lawns and cars. Still snowing snow. A lovely night for lamp post watching...
Heavy snow now, every surface covered, first snows of winter here, or is it spring?

Cripes if this kept up all night we'd have some serious depth out there but looking at Raintoday it'll be all over in around half an hour, snows settled about inch and a half so far.
Very lucky folks down in B&NES and the mendips getting snow accumulations! Here in Bristol we had persistant sleet with big wet flakes for a few hours, temp hovering around 2.5oC. Still pinning my hopes on the precipitation due in the early hours as temp continues to fall, currently 1.8
Snow easing off now. Glad to have had some....

Was nice to see even if melt down has begun......
Heavy wet snow here now.
Anybody near Portsmouth that wants some snow go to butser hill as its looking very white 😊😊 It would seem from the train that the ground between catherington Down, and the tunnel just before petersfield also saw a snow flurry at some point over night. But given its height butser has done well by the looks of it 😏
Our snow almost completely gone now, 5.3c has seen that off, 2" of the rare white stuff completely wasted and during the night no time to enjoy it.
You know, reading these reports makes me feel like I'm living in a totally different country!
