Wouldn't have thought fat-burners would improve a player's skill level, rather it's a combination of Lovren remembering how to play football and Klopp doing the coaching he's renowned for (the former, obviously, being a symptom of the latter)

But he's a knobhead all the same.

And we can now discount any feint hopes of sneaking into the top 4. We played Newcastle off the park in the 1st half; we dominated so much it was almost embarrassing. Then, second half, Mignolet flaps at a regulation cross, Cisse gets a nod-in, Newcastle get their tails up, we forget how to play.

Over to Spurs (who will most likely stuff West Brom tomorrow night). The real interest is next weekend...

As long as Spurs do their bit tomorrow, it's still entirely conceivable that there will be a 3 point swing in Spurs' favour next weekend. Not all over yet ...

As for the anti-fat burners brigade you could almost put a team together  - based on past and present luminairies.

In goal I'd have William 'Fatty' Foulke

Or maybe Neville Southall, should he ever wish to come out of retirement.

I can see the title race going to the last game

Most people reckon that Spurs will beat WBA at home, Chelsea away, Southampton at home and Newcastle away - given the way they are playing

Leicester have Man U away, Everton at home and Chelsea away

Leicester need 5 points to be certain of the title - that will be a win and 2 draws. They will definitely beat Everton at home - but are they certain to draw at Man U and Chelsea ?

Assuming they lose at Man U and beat Everton at home - only a win at Chelsea will guarantee the title

This is all based on Spurs taking 12 points out of 12 in their next 4 games which is very likely but not certain - as you can never say never in football - and obviously if and it is a big IF Spurs drop points it will make Leicester's job easier

If Spurs do actually manage to overhaul Lester I think it will be justice, given most objective football fans will say they've been the best team in the PL this season. The metrics say so, even if the most important one (points on the board) doesn't at the moment.

Correct I remember I think Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports saying they statistically have the best stats of any team in the premier league - assists, possession, chances, defence etc

I can't argue with how impressive Spurs have been this season. it makes it all the more remarkable when you somehow see Leicester top of the league. It's a freakish outcome, all things considered. The combination of so many players being at the form of their career for a sustained period of time.

Rarely post in this thread (being a Leeds fan 'n all that ). Have to say the fact that the two teams battling out to be Premier League champions are who they are is refreshing and is surely the best thing to happen in years for English top flight football. Spurs have been incredible to watch at times, but Leicester have held their own with some great results (Man City away being one). Whoever wins deserves it in my opinion, and I won't grumble on either team being crowned champions. For the first time in years I am glued to the title race, and I believe a Spurs win tonight after Leicester's emphatic win against Swansea, will pretty much ensure a last game-day shootout for glory. May the best men win!

Spurs hit the post twice already

It's a case of when and not if......WBA playing for a draw from the off and defending pretty much continuously

Get the idea if Spurs score WBA don't have a plan B

1-0 Sperms. Hardly a surprise.

I see no reason why they won't carry on at the beginning of next season where they've left off this season.

As for tonight's game, I actually think they're playing better (so far) than the Stoke game.
