So Leicester need one win or three draws from three (assuming Spurs don't drop any more points). With a couple of tough games it won't be plain sailing, but also Everton who will already be on their holidays it is is hard to see past them now. Spurs have a difficult trip to Chelsea next week which promises not to be easy and the title could well be decided by the end of next week's games.

My Fantasy team could well have used a massive Alli, Eriksen, Kane goalfest tonight to help me pull some ground on first position in my friends' league. They did me no favours tonight.

Its all over now,barring a total implosion from Leicester,and they will more than likely be champions on sunday.

Spurs have simply drawn too many games but if they continue to improve as they have done next season could be theirs.At least they will have champions league football at White Hart Lane next season,which I suspect was the objective this season.

The other positive,is Kane and Ali are English,so promising for the euros.

And that's the silver lining I suppose, rubbing Manure's face in it on their own turf.

Not sure they'll win at OT but they should get over the line at home to Everton.

It would be fitting if they arrived at Stamford Bridge as champions for the final match of the campaign.

The greatest story in English football to be written in the next few weeks. Certainly on a par with Brian Clough and Forest - I know he won the European cup but to win the premier league without super star big names and to make it more remarkable after being cast iron certainties for relegation last years defies belief


I wonder what will happen next season - where will Leicester finish. Will the Spurs bubble burst - what about the big names like City United Arsenal Chelsea and Liverpool. Who will be the favourites next season - does anyone know - after this season - who knows what might happen

It may well do so, although the TV money may increase the randomness of PL results.

One thing I'm certain of is that it's asking too much to expect ALL of Man U, Arsenal, Shiteh and the Chavs to show that this season was a fluke (to varying degrees) in terms of mediocrity.

The Dippers will be there or thereabouts, as the Klopp project unfolds. Sooooo, for them - maybe fifth with an outside chance of fourth. The top four will be between Spurs (who I don't expect to screw up) and any three of Manure, Shiteh, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Which three depends on which one screws up.

I do hope this proves to be the case.  Having the Premier League mirror the randomness of results that the Championship has (more level financially) can only prove to be good for football in the long term.

If Leicester are to win, I'd like them to wrap it up this weekend by beating the Manc scum - ending their hopes of a top 4 finish once & for all.

Well there is that. They should do it this weekend because they'd rather not drag it out. And that factors in Manure having the incentive to beat them too.

Ranieri will rightly be manager of the year and Leicester team of the year.

It is ironic that the so-called 'Tinkerman' has had the most settled team in PL history having made just 25 changes (enforced) throughout the season vs 80 or so under Maureen last year.

Not surprised the ref missed it. He also missed a stonewall penalty when Evans elbowed the ball.

Given the pace of change in football over just the last 20/25 years, it's impossible to know what will happen going forwards. What's true is that Leicester (and Spurs) have benefitted from a bit of a transitional period for some of the richest clubs.
