The potential is growing for a classic 80s-style all-nighter MCS for the SE corner tomorrow night as very humid and unstable air from the continent meets the trigger of a weather front.
The threat of homegrown surface-based storms (possibly severe) then develops throughout Thursday.
As ever, the positioning of the front - and therefore the most severe activity - is still subject to change, but the ingredients are certainly looking ripe for somewhere to get hit... and storm lovers will be hoping it doesn't all end up in the Channel and North Sea!
