The most notable events of the month were the thunderstorms. On the 10th, storms dumped 31mm in 39 minutes on Waddington, whilst on the 22nd, 25mm fell in 39 minutes at Ringway, 39mm in one hour at Golders Green on north London and 90mm on Brill in Bucks.
