Tonight the rain clears eastwards. However, it remains wet in the far north west and scattered showers continue in other western areas.

Tomorrow will be dry and bright in southern and central regions. Northern and western Scotland have outbreaks of rain, and a few showers develop in other parts of the north too. Feeling quite warm in sunny spells, but windy for early July, particularly in the north.

Cool and changeable outlook

Sunday should be dry with sunny spells in southern and central regions. In the north showers are longer spells of rain probably affect northern Scotland. Very windy for early July with a risk of gales in the north.

Monday is expected to bring a mix of sunny spells and showers. Windy and rather cool.

The mixed theme continues on Tuesday. Computer models are suggesting the possibility of outbreaks of rain in the south and showery conditions in the north.
