Outbreaks of rain push eastwards across southern Britain today and another area of rain moves into the west later. The weather remains unsettled through the rest of the week, but it will turn at the weekend. Next week could see a change, with high pressure becoming more influential and the chance of dry periods increasing. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and contribute to its ongoing development, explore the payment options, see below)

The unsettled theme continues on Monday. All regions could have showers or longer spells of rain and it is expected to be windy. Temperatures are likely to be lower than in recent days.
