Showers return today, but they shouldn't be as heavy and widespread as they were yesterday. Tomorrow, outbreaks of rain push across southern counties, but further north it should be mostly dry. The mixed theme continues next week. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and contribute to its ongoing development, explore the payment options, see below)

Saturday begins with showers in western coastal counties and Northern Ireland. Elsewhere there has been a widespread frost and it is foggy in places too.
Through the day showers become more widespread and over high ground in the north they bring a wintry mix. Despite that, there will be a reasonable amount of sunny spells and some places are likely to remain dry.
Temperatures range from 5°C in northern Scotland to 9°C in southern England. You can check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, showers fade away and clear periods allow a widespread frost to form. However, by the morning cloud and outbreaks of rain push into the south west.
Tomorrow, an area of rain pushes eastwards across southern England. Areas to its north have a few showers, with the brightest conditions probably in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
During Monday the rain in the south steadily clears, but it may linger in the southeastern corner into the afternoon. All regions then have sunny spells, but it will be chilly. Scattered showers are expected and in the north they could be wintry.
Tuesday is looking very mixed. A band of rain is expected to push southeastwards, possibly reaching Wales and central England in the afternoon. Areas to its southeast could remain dry until the night. To its northwest brighter skies return, but there will be a few showers in Scotland.
Wednesday is currently looking dry in central and eastern counties. However, outbreaks of rain push across Northern Ireland and possibly into western Britain by the evening.
