UK Met UKV, Friday 5th July [Tap animation to toggle cities]
Tonight, heavy outbreaks of rain push northeastwards across much of southern and central Britain. Clearer conditions follow, but heavy showers push into Wales and the south west later on. Heavy showery spells of rain also affect central Scotland, but in other parts of the north it becomes mostly dry.
Tomorrow, showers or longer spells of rain are likely early on in southern and central regions, as well as parts of Scotland. However, as the day progresses bright intervals develop, with the showers becoming more scattered and lighter. Rather cool for July.

The forecast remains mixed for the next few days. Sunday is looking showery and rather cool. The showers may become heavy and thundery at times. Next week further showers or longer spells of rain are likely. The wettest conditions will generally be in the west, but significant amounts of rain are possible in all regions. During wet spells temperatures will be on the low side for July.
