The weather remains quite unsettled this weekend due to an area of low pressure centred over the North Sea. Outbreaks of rain affect parts of the north and north east today with showers in other areas turning heavy at times. Tomorrow further showery spells of rain are likely in places. Next week could see temperatures starting to rise, but the risk of rain remains. The wet conditions may extend into eastern Scotland at times too. Elsewhere, there will be dry periods, but showers develop. In southern and central counties they become heavy.
Rather cool. Temperatures range from 12°C in northern Scotland to 20°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.
