UK weather discussion

There will be an autumnal feel to things today. Blustery winds bring showers to much of the country, although most of them will be in northern and western areas. Even in places which remain dry and bright it will feel chilly for the time of the year.

Temperatures range from 8°C in northern Scotland to 15°C in the south west of England. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, showers become more scattered and long clear periods allow temperatures to dip sharply. Ground frost is likely to develop widely in sheltered locations across the northern half of the UK.

Tomorrow it's a similar theme, however showers will become more scattered and winds won't be as blustery as today. Temperatures remain low and overnight quite a widespread ground frost develops.
