The mixed weather continues today, with outbreaks of rain in northern England and northern Wales edging southwards. However, the coming week is forecast to bring a good deal of fine and increasingly warm conditions as high pressure becomes dominant. Patchy outbreaks of rain in northern England and northern Wales edge southwards through the day, and there could be some heavy bursts mixed in this afternoon. In much of southern England it remains dry. Northern Ireland remains mostly dry, but in Scotland an area of rain pushes eastwards.
Temperatures range from 13°C in northern Scotland to 21°C in south eastern England this afternoon. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, the rain clears to leave dry conditions in all areas. Mild in the south, but in Scotland a touch of frost is possible in the glens.
Tomorrow, dry weather is expected across the UK, and there should be a reasonable amount of sunshine. Temperatures won't be far from the average and in the south east it will feel quite warm.

The following few days are expected to be dry and increasingly warm. However, in the northern half of the UK mist and fog is expected to develop during the nights. In the south, a strengthening easterly wind is likely to increasingly prevent that.
