Most of the UK has more fine weather today, and temperatures continue to rise. This pattern is expected to continue tomorrow and Thursday, which is likely to be the warmest day of the week. By Friday, the risk of heavy showers begins to increase in the south. High pressure will bring another fine and warm day to most of the UK. The exceptions are northern and western areas of Scotland, where there will be more cloud and the risk of drizzly rain at times.
Temperatures range from 17°C to 23°C, with some of the highest values in eastern Scotland. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight it remains dry across the UK. Mist and fog could form in central and northern areas by the morning.
Tomorrow a repeat performance is expected. The dry weather continues across the UK and temperatures are likely to be a little higher than today's. In the south it will be quite windy.

Thursday could be the warmest day of the week, with sunshine in all areas. However, there's an increasing risk of heavy showers and thunderstorms in southern and central regions from Friday through the weekend. In the north, it's likely to remain mostly dry and quite warm.
