Wet weather steadily pushes northeastwards today as low pressure moves in from the Atlantic. The unsettled conditions continue tomorrow, but by Friday the rain will be moving away. A ridge of high pressure bring drier conditions for the weekend, although on Sunday the next area of low pressure will be approaching from the southwest. Outbreaks of rain in the south west steadily extend northeastwards across much of England and Wales today. The rain will be heavy at times, particularly in the south and west. Scotland and Northern Ireland have a few showers, but it remains mostly dry.
Temperatures range from 9°C in the north east to 16°C in the south west. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, the northern half of Scotland hangs on to dry conditions. In the rest of the UK there is a risk of showers or longer outbreaks of rain. It will also be quite windy in the north and near the south coast.
Tomorrow, outbreaks of rain are likely to be focused on central areas. In much of Scotland and southern England there should be a reasonable amount of dry weather. In the south it will feel quite warm in sunny spells, but the north has a chilly day. Windy.

Wet weather pushes southwards on Friday. It clears most areas during the day, although it may stay wet in the south eastern corner into the evening. Colder and brighter conditions follow from the north, with scattered showers.
The weekend begins dry in southern and central regions, but showers push across the north. On Sunday wet and windy weather starts pushing in from the southwest as a deep area of low pressure approaches. Much of the UK probably stays dry, but on Monday there is the potential for wet and very windy conditions.
