Mixed next week

The new week begins very wet and windy in much of the UK but forecast details from Tuesday onwards are uncertain. The likelihood is that showery spells of rain continue in southern and central areas initially, but high pressure brings drier conditions to the north. Wednesday and Thursday could be mostly dry.
