So after a time away recovering from spinal surgery, I hit the road big time, and toured the Midwest USA chasing storms.

Check it out, you will salivate.

Next year I' hoping for more tornadic activity, as this year was really quiet when I was there.

Still you can't plan your weather, can you, but these shots tell all!!

Cheers

Good work! What an amazing collection of photos, especially the bright orange mammatus ones.

Thanks Ian, that was an incredible event we were near North Platte, and had just finished chow down, when we walked outside to see this. Next thing it was cameras going crazy, then we quickly took off to high point just out of town, to catch the sunset with the mammatus dying slowly.

Unforgettable.

Cheers

What Ian said.

Fabulous. I have to go there one day and do that myself.

Simply brilliant!

Great mammatus shots, fantastic lightning/supercell shots and congrats on the tornado - quite a chunky beaut at that!

That`s the best slide show I`ve ever seen, bar none.

Wonderful, I especially liked the lightning with supercell and the mammatus at sunset looked as though you were on a different planet  Well done, and glad you came back safely!

That was a fantastic slide show, i was feeling all the dissapointment every time the cell nearly produced but not quite ;o) Those mammatus were absolutely amazing.
Would love to go chasing one day.
