As the weather patterns shift, I expect the increased rate of rise of the last few days to continue for a couple of weeks at least. Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

And Arctic Ice is increasing now. It seems to have got colder in the Arctic regions, just as the temperatures in lower latitudes - Asia and Europe - have ameliorated?

About mid march, however I wonder if the pattern this year of coldness at lower latitudes now migrating north might cause a later than average maximum?

Well, I thought about another 10 days - but yes, perhaps a little longer. Will the peak rise above the 1979 - 2000 average?
