    Beautiful midnight Noctilucent clouds

Well, in actual fact these were taken just after 1am but you get the idea!

My aim of the night was to do some star trail photography at St Catherines Oratory which turned out okish

I wasn't really in the mood for any more photography so i headed back homeward, but on the way back i noticed to my north a strange glow above behind the line of trees, i manged to get to some higher ground in Wroxall and was treated to a bright glowing sky!

By about 1:30am i was almost home but the sky to the north just got brighter and brighter!

    Slightly more zoomed

It made my night worth it!

Jamie, once again, you've surpassed yourself with your quality images. Why aren't you making a living out of it??
Fantasic images there, so good that it actually made my arms go all goosepimply!
Do you have a website to display your talents? If you do, it'll most certainly be added to my "favourites".

. . . . PS, just found your website . . . good lord! It's got the kind of stuff that'll put David Bailey to shame!
Perhaps I am laying the praise on a bit thick, but you're one very talented guy.

Amazing what else can I say. I think I'll take a good look when I come home from the pub tonight.

Pics like these are just something special.

Part of the skill is not only the photography, but even noticing things like noctilucent clouds happening and setting out to photograph them! oShocked

I've never seen noctilucent clouds, and wouldn't know one if one hit me on the head! Your photos are excellent. oApprove

Darren, when you see them, trust me you will never miss them.
I saw them driving to Holland last year, and was looking at them for a good 90 mins or so.
    Fabulous.
