Probably not thundery, but it's concerning the amount of rain that may fall in N. England over the weekend. 120mm potentially over the North York Moors.

A high level spotty shower just passed overhead with one rumble of thunder, so something is happening.

It's sticky 32 degrees too.

That storm north of Rouen looks surface based, and pretty potent. Heading north - be interesting to see how it develops.

The thunderstorm now affecting the Liverpool and Birkenhead area looks very active indeed. Can anyone there give a report?

Rain came in waves, the last was torrential, gutters couldnt keep up with it.

interestingly - dropped to about 24*c, but the wind has now gone from cool in the interior of the storm, to a very warm almost hair drier feel, as the storm sucks in the surrounding hot air

Clearing now, i would say as active as Tuesdays storm that

We took a direct fit from the Liverpool storm. Very short but intense, with thunder and lightning, but it was the hall!! An inch across, set all the car alarms off.

20mm of rain.

Love it. (Still terrified though lol)

Also - Kent beware - that cell is now crossing the channel, will really jump into gear once it clear the channel and back into the heat
