Would be interested to hear if you make progress. One of my sisters is in the same situation. I don't understand why he chose 30th March as the date rather than today.

To put it bluntly there are some XXX rated horror stories from the UK and other countries. Often young people with no diagnosed underlying medical conditions. If there are still people not taking this seriously they are idiots at best and criminals at worst.

Spot on, but some people still don't take it seriously.

Another story: a 95 year old woman in Italy was diagnosed with Covid-19 after developing persistent dry coughing and very high temperature. Her family thought 'that's it' and she was not even admitted to hospital. She has now made a full recovery at home.

indeed... and what will become even more apparent... the impact of the virus will disproportionately affect poorer countries in the world and poorer regions in wealthier countries... twas ever thus I guess.

The stupidity and incompetence of just 2 weeks ago will probably start paying dividends now: open schools, open restaurants and pubs, indoor gigs, no official advice to work from home, you name it.

Absolutely ridiculous! The longer this continues, the longer the lockdown will have to last and the bigger the damage to our economy. 

Re these antibody tests - surely 100,000 or so of them should be used to conduct a random uk wide sample to see the overall prevalence? Similar to an exit poll, which normally have high accuracy these days. Could consult a pollster for best way to run it

CMO: Not enormous pressure on critial care beds at present. Expecting it to rise in the next ew weeks.

Agreed, yet during the Press Conference Boris avoided the questions around building sites. It needs to be addressed. It’s all very well ministers saying it’s safe.

Do they ever get out of their bubble and look at these things.

Yes, I think these are a step forward. But we’ve been told for weeks that we would increase normal testing - 25,000 at one point. 

I suspect the reality of these will be later than expected.
