Apparently one of the supposed best Liverpool ITKs says the bindippers are about to pull out of the Suarez 'deal'. Doesn't necessarily mean 'Arry will come in, although Eales (our deal maker) was certainly in Holland last night.

Suarez is worth £20m IMO, though I would have a preference for Hulk, as 'howsyourcocoa' is now probably out of our price range. The press has been silent today regarding the latter agreeing to join Shitteh.

If the story below, supposedly from a Liverpool ITK is remotely true, then all I can say it was a finking masterstroke.

Quoting the poster of this little gem:

Holloway will rightly go ballistic with a bid like that. So distorted has the market become that Liverpool's offer effectively means Charlie Adam is worth one sixth of Darren Bent. Mind you, that pales into insigificance against the £2.5m offer tabled by Villa last week.

It doesn't make sense because Charlie Corrolli has nicked one of Spurs' best European scouts (salary wise at least) - who resides in France, which of course is prime territory for Corrolli.

Reading between the lines, money doesn't appear to be a major issue with Henry either, if the right player becomes available on the Continent.

Its funny how Charlies career has progressed...He left Glasgow Rangers for Blackpool a few years ago as a player who was deemed not good enough for the Ibrox outfit. Now he is the star player of a Top half premiership team and being courted by many other premeirship teams. At Rangers Charlie did standout with his set piece kicks but was played a lot at left back. I am glad that he has gone down to England and made a name for himself..not many Scots players manage the transition.

Arry was at the Madrid cup derby looking at Diego Forlan. Arry has conceded wages would be a problem with Diego on 100K+ per week. IMO Diego would be an excellent foil for Defoe and would not just bring goals to Spurs but better overall play as Forlan is a very intelligent player. An attacking line up with Defoe, Forlan up front Lennon and Bale on the wings and Van Der Vaart joining attack from midfield which prem team wouldnt want that line up..?

Yes Diego would also fit in well at the Emirates or any other club !! Man U came to early for Diego, tho his hard work was always appreciated it just didnt work for the lad.

Given the current (likely) availability of players I would prefer Rossi over Forlan. Yes, Forlan scored 5 goals at the WC, but he played in a deeper role and I'm not entirely convinced he is equipped to lead the line in the EPL. His best days are probably behind him and I can think of better players to spend 100K a week on.

It's interesting that both players played for United at one one point.  I can't remember the circumstances of Rossi's loan move to Newcastle but I got the impression that Ferguson ran out of patience. Forlan, on the other hand, was given every chance. Like Rossi his Man U/EPL stats were poor though.

Hope this game (Wolves - Liverpool) livens up. Pretty poor so far. Skirtel is an accident waiting to happen.
