Rime ice forming 'feathers' at Harting Down this morning (7 Dec). Mist, temp -0.5C, light E'ly wind, fog (unusually) on the hills, not in the valleys

That's interesting as yesterday the rime was forming like that on the Ridgeway (high up) vegetation as I drove back from Weymouth but at home although 0C no white frost.
