7C here. Calm and sunny. Cooler on the lower heaths I assume.
I see that Bournemouth airport has 3.4C which is nippy for near enough midsummer.

Breezy, a few bits of cloud, 18.5, dew 9.6. A pleasant enough afternoon, but far from the overcast gloom that was forecast!

Max today was 15.9, however that was at 10.15 this morning, just as we were finishing our 10 mile run.

The rest of the day was pretty much on the nose of 14c, although it felt fine in a tshirt even with no sun and the NW breeze.

Cool, breezy with broken cloud sums up the weather .. not just for today but the last 10 days plus. No rain here now for 13 days. The weather system this evening will miss us too.

Well, the models were right for once - I woke up to the pleasant sound of rain drumming on the roof, and it's still raining now. That's the first rain for 10 days, and the first rain of the summer. There's been 2.4mm so far.

It's currently 11.7, dew 10.3, with the overnight low so far also being 11.7. Yesterday's high was 18.9.

12.7C. Cloudy and dry with westerly breeze.
The radar shows some patchy light rain to my NW, which if it materialises here will be a novelty this summer.

About 8mm overnight and it is still ridiculously cold for mid june at 7C with strong northerly wind. It is of course the hottest June ever.

Dull and damp making the current 11.4 C & mid 90% H feel cold and clammy. I know our mid-latitude maritime climate isn't well known in terms of regular hot, dry and sunny weather but it would be nice if it isn't quite so February-like.

Dark and raining when I got up, then we had a spell of clear skies and glorious susnhine, and now the cloud has built up again. A mere 17C in my home office but I'm not putting the heating on, dammit.

I went for a local walk yesterday and the countryside really is looking glorious after all that rain and warmth through May.

A morning of rain has given way to broken cloud and the odd sunny interval, with a brisk NWly wind. It feels fantastic: the air is fresh and clear, visibility is superb (none of the usual summer haze), and it doesn't feel at all humid. That's because it's exceptionally cool for the time of day - just 10.6, which isn't far off the overnight low (of 10.4). The day's high so far is 12.9, at 1AM, and that's unheard of in summer.

It won't last, of course; the forecast is for the cloud to continue to dissipate and when the sun comes out for longer the temperature will quickly rise closer to normal.

There has been 5.2mm of rain so far today.

EDIT:

I went for a local walk yesterday and the countryside really is looking glorious after all that rain and warmth through May.

I'd certainly agree there - the warm conditions and regular doses of rain have turbo-charged growth - especially the brambles, which seem to be growing visibly every hour! Everything's lush and green, and compared with recent years where the grass has started to yellow around now, it's wonderful to see.

Last summer achieved the old standard of staying mostly green throughout (just a couple of periods of a few days where the grass started to yellow, before more rain arrived). Could we make it two in a row, I wonder? With 12 weeks left of summer, it'd be quite a stretch...

Very sharp squall just passed through here - delivered a peak rain rate of 43mm/h. Rain hail and high gusts were very spectacular. 5 minutes later it was gone.

Walked home from work and it feels scorching out in the broken sunshine. Yet, the thermo only says 15c-16c. Shows that solar radiation (of which a thermo inside a screen is protected from), plays a big part in how it feels outside.

A largely sunny afternoon, with a brisk breeze persisting here. The temperature's been zig-zagging a fair bit as clouds have passed by, then the sun comes out again...

Currently it's 16.2, dew 8.9, with a high so far of 16.7. If it stays that way it'd be a rare case of a 3C-below-average day.

Today started off on a fairly bright note here in Edinburgh but there has been a number of recent showers.

The temperature has been no higher than around 14°C during today and has even dropped to as low as around 9°C in those showers, which is absolutely pathetic for what is supposed to be "summer".🤢

The temperature has then recovered slightly in any brighter weather, but is currently only at what is still a ridiculously cold (for this time of year) 11°C.😡
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
