Staggering to see nearly 35c in Cambridge with such a glancing blow synoptically.

We are definitely out the other side of the cold front now.
A lovely evening with clear blue skies and 20.0c now. 25c high under muggy conditions after lunch , then dropped to 19.8c under cloudy skies quite rapidly before rising again to 22c in the late afternoon sunshine.

A swing round to a westerly and the temps have dropped already. From a high just over 30c with a new record 23.8c DP, it is now "only" 26.7c outside. The BBC forecast for tonight is a low of 11c which seems a little suspicious given it was 17c a day or two ago for tonight, but will be very welcome if true.

Might as well keep the thread going... 28.2 (dew 16.1) here, and rising. Anyone else still having very warm/hot weather?

At least the dewpoint is lower, even though it can hardly be called fresh!

It’s a bit warmer here than this time yesterday at 17.2°C currently, although it has just started to rain again.

27.6c here now, some very high and thin cloud 35% humidity. It's certainly more comfortable than yesterday.
