It's a lovely 18.2c now, a pleasant breeze and inside is already down to 22.2c which is crazy given the earlier dewpoint of nearly 24c and max of over 30c. Feels almost like a Melbourne cool change has come through to freshen everything up.

Clear here, and calm of course - the summer default.

Still very warm, but at least it's not as silly as yesterday: 16.7, dew 14.7, which is the overnight low so far.

It was 22C at midnight, and it's only in the last couple of hours that the temperature's really started falling
.
The high yesterday was 33.6, exceptional for here.

(The overnight lows indoors were 25C downstairs and 27C upstairs, and yes, that's with the windows opened since it went below 30 yesterday evening!)

Hot and humid again earlier today, with the return of 18/19C dewpoints... the humidity is dropping away now, but it remains very warm.
Some cloud's moving up from the south, associated with an area of showery rain further south... what a bonus if that manages to make it here!
Currently it's 27.6, dew 12.8, with a high of 28.8 earlier.

Surprise, surprise, the rain's fizzling as it hits my end of Sheppey. I swear we have a rain deflector here! There were, though, about 3 raindrops on top of the wheelie bin... great stuff. As an added bonus, it's bumped the humidity back up again too!

As you've spotted, the features then often perk up as they move out over the sea, it's really quite frustrating if you're after rain.

In the end despite a few radar echoes, nothing made it down to the ground... the rain gauge sits forlorn and unused.

It's presently mostly cloudy, and the blanket has kept the temperatures up: 17.0, dew 15.0, and the low so far is 16.4. Yesterday's high was 28.8, and the MetO raw has 26 again today.

Moist with some sporadic light rain at 18.2C. Calm.
A dead cat in the road and I'm going to report to the Council what looks like a sinkhole appearing in the pavement and green outside.
Not that unheard of around here but I hope this isn't one of the big uns.

Warm and humid again, with light winds, but also a bit more cloud around. It'll be another 10 days or so before you notice the sun losing its punch here - having been outside talking to a farmer earlier for 40 minutes I've had more than enough sun for the day!
25.4, dew 16.5, the high so far being 25.7. MetO raw has 26 as the max here today and again it looks like being spot on. I'm very, very impressed with the performance of whatever model they're now using (which isn't UKV).

EDIT: And several hours later, it's another sultry evening. Partly cloudy (the rain nearby is, of course, fizzling as it edges ever so slowly closer). Still 25.2, dew 17.1, so another very warm night to come.
