We are camping this weekend in the far south east, yellow warning for rain just issued for Saturday, luckily I am one of those campers that is surrounded by tin with heating and hot water, the people we are going with are in a tent.

Very locally not too bad, but...

Trains into Liverpool suspended due to a tree blocking the line/damaging overhead cables
My eldest has friends camping at the Creamfields Festival and they said around 6am it was bedlam, screaming everywhere as tents collapsed. As SpeckledJim said, Leeds Festival hit worse - apparently half the staff tents have blown away and two stages heavily damaged.

The max gust on my PWS was about 59mph at just before 08:00 this morning, a pretty remarkable gust for August.

Still blustery now but not as bad as this morning.
