An effortless 25.2 out there right now, with any clouds managing to avoid the sun.

EDIT: The temperature graph today shows how neatly the clouds have dodged the sun all day long so far! It's about as perfect a curve as you'll ever see.

2nd day running to reach 21 C and it's been a lovely sunny morning walking up the hill and through the woods. Something not so nice looks to be approaching from The Borders though 🤔

Sunny. There are a few clouds around but as has been the case all day, the sun's avoiding them.

28.2, dew 16.8, the high so far being 28.4.

EDIT: Up to 28.8 as the high now. Given the MetO raw had 29 here, I'd say it's done very well.

The text forecast, saying a maximum of 28 across the whole SE? Not quite so good.

As expected, heavy rain from the south. Just to my west though it's stayed sunny, I'm just on the edge

Clear, muggy 24C here. An insignificant hint of drizzle earlier. I anticipate a cooler week ahead, but still dry. The roads are thronged with bales being moved by trucks and tractors. Sugar beet looking good.

One of those days that seems to be more and more common.

Mostly cloudy, muggy for sure, and an effortless 27.4c as the max

We actually had a few spots of rain about 4:30 this afternoon, which was a little surprising

With that rain band, a total of 2.2 mm of rain was recorded at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 1.4 mm at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Nevertheless, a total of 7.4 hours of sunshine was recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank where a total of only at least 10.0 hours of sunshine now need to be recorded in the last three days of this month in order to finally give us that elusive first sunnier than average month since January and given the latest forecasts, that could well end up happening.

Currently around 13°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Another mostly sunny day, and one of those where yesterday's heat has lingered in the house despite having the windows open.

It's also been warm, with a breeze from the SW and the usual foehn effect from the Downs.

Currently it's 22.7, dew 11.7, and today's high was 25.4. Last night's low was 14.4.

Very smokey, hazy sky here which is not something that is common in a Pm westerly. Either North American or Icelandic smoke, or both.
