Happy Autumn Equinox everyone.
As I write, we're still a couple of days away from the Equilux which is the actual day in which the days and nights are of equal length but after that, the nights will be longer than the nights and since today also marks the start of astronomical autumn, it's now autumn regardless of how you actually define that.
Meanwhile, our latest permacast hell here in Edinburgh has now gone into its third day and although there isn't any of the dampness or light drizzle which has been around on other recent mornings, today is still once again starting off on yet another dull, overcast and dreary note here with a temperature of around 11°C after an overnight minimum temperature of 11.0°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, even though yesterday was once again our coldest day of this autumn so far with a maximum temperature of just 13.2°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
