What I don't get is Arsene spends £15m on Chamberlain (Gamble) Yet won't cough up £7m on Parker who will atleast fit straight into the team and give them abit of balls.

today must be a record. surely, never before have the two north london clubs conceded more than a dozen goals between them on a single afternoon ??????

Wenger has just said that Arsenal would have won 2-0 but for the 8 unlucky goals they conceded.

I knew Arsenal were bad when they played Liverpool because they made Liverpool look good.

Could well be Nick,not in my lifetime can i rememeber it occuring...city looked classy utd the same...Spurs looked fragile and arsenal just plain hilarious...its was obvious regarding arsenal the minute fabregas bolted then nasri and with the suspensions they were gonna get wacked..tbh Spurs had no excuse today theres no doubt in my mind Tottenhams gotta get some balls,arsenal never had any in the first place 

Only other PL game I can clearly recall when 10 or more goals were scored was when Spurs destroyed Wigan 9-1 two seasons ago. Unfortunately I can't remember the Villa v Reading game you mention.

Maybe a lot of this has been of AW's making, but I couldn't but feel sorry for him this afternoon. The Man U players were doing what they're paid to do, but after the match I wonder just how many of the football fans amongst the Utd supporters didn't feel just that little bit uncomfortable about "over" celebrating. Beating one of the top teams in a cleanly fought battle is one thing, but Arsenal were dire and probably fortunate to only concede 8 goals. Don't get me wrong as a Utd follower A victory against the Gunners is one to tick off in a season, but this.............

I know what you mean John, and I felt a little sorry for Wenger too. It can't be a pleasant experience for any football manager to watch his team be completely destroyed like that. Arsenal certainly don't seem to have their troubles to seek at the moment. Even towards the end of last season, they lost quite a few games on the road that I wouldn't have expected them to lose.
